Soundcard probs with midi recording

I am having problems combining midi and audio signals for output in my home recording system.

My setup is:

Echo Darla 24 card (2 analog inputs, 8 outputs)
Soundblaster PCI128 card
Midiman Keystation49 midi controller
Cubase SX

I've been able to hear midi outputs when connecting my speakers to the soundblaster card, but I can't hear my audio when plugged in here. So I can plug my speakers into my Darla card and hear audio, but no midi even though my meters in Cubase show input and output for midi. I am using a Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth for my midi sounds, but I can also use the sounblaster synth. Either way I'm not finding a way to send the midi output signal to the output of my Darla card so that I can hear both midi and audio outputting at the same time. Is there a way to route the output from the soundblaster synth to the darla? What are my options for combining these two inputs for one output?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
