Hi I have just excelled myself and burnt out my Guilemot break out box, wrong line in and bye bye sucker.
So,.... enough of the card itself remains that i can use the multimedia setup, and thankfully an old card which means I have a line in line out. I won't pretend i understand all this (hence the blow up) Basically i am busted now and as i am recently disabled am hardly gonna find the money to replace this card. Need me a samaritan might go through this setup process with me on the bits and pieces that remain from when i was a going concern as an earner. Basically i have bits an pieces of Amps, a guitar effects rack, mics. A tascam 424 mk2 a behringer 4 mixer, home stereo unit and like that. Trying to get myself back into the game out of a home studio set up and just been given an American radio show as featured artist off my first mp3 out but this is a lot of shit to pull together having to work it all out again, By times i am heavily medicated for pain relief so there are days i am not firing on all cylinders, need someone to simplify all this information. SLOWLY, ie "OK ya gimpy git. Ya takes your doofrey and find the whadyacallit on the back of" or "ya see the reason your getting that whooshing sound is that your little old knob up top there is pushed the wrong way" I can see you have some serious studio heads out there, (then of course you have the wiseasses who want to answer genuine questions with their refreshing surfeit of alacrity and wit. Its the former I coulkd use a little guidance here from.
