Soundcard Hiss

When I record my song from my Tascam 424mkIII to Exact Audio Copy (EAC), it plays back with hiss in the backround. i suppose its from the soundcard because it was never there before. is there a way to fix this?

You can't expect a reply in 45 minutes. Im basing this off of the time of your first post and your last post. Anyway I'm sure someone can help you out but give it time. My guess is your soundcard is the problem. Is it a nice card or a cheap soundblaster?
