Right now I have an Intel Intergrated Audio soundcard...I know it sux so I was wondering if I got a soundcard like, lets say for example, the SoundblasterLS. How much difference would my recording change? I am recording vocals right now with the Intergrated soundcard and am coming up with some average sound(its not bad, no background noise, its pretty clean but it can be much better)so I was wondering if I upgraded to a soundcard like SoundblasterLIVE, what difference would it make? Would it make my vocals sound better? How does a better soundcard help me out in recording? I know that I don't know that much about soundcards, so you don't have to remind me.

That would be going from one gaming card to a nicer gaming card. Soundblasters in general are just not good enough for decent recording.

Check out the M-Audio cards.

what M-Audio soundcard would you recommend to me? What are the most inexpensive ones that they have?

I'd say go with the M-Audio Audiophile 2496... $100, new.
