soundcard advice

Hi im looking to buy my first 8 channle sound card i just bout to order an m audio delta 1010 but i carnt understand what type of the connectors the inputs and outputs are the look like jack connectors but the specs say there TRS, im looking for a card with jack connectors is this the one for me.

do you mean 1/4 jacks? if so, TRS is 1/4's. Also, I wouldnt worry too much about the kind of jacks. There are plenty of adapters out there to let you convert from one type to another. Just worry about getting a good card that fits your budget and input needs.
 
i have the 1010lt which is the pci version of the one your getting. they are great cards, nice and easy to use. trs is a balanced 1/4 jack, and there is ts which is an unbalanced 1/4 jack.
