Sound quality loss in multiple cables?

if i bought 3 of musiciansfriend's 20 foot mic cables and linked them together to make a 60, would i suffer substantial quality loss?? i ask because its a whole lot cheaper than just getting one 50 foot cable, which is about the length i need.
 
XLR is balanced, so that wouldn't be much of a problem I think. any other homerec's to contradict that?
 
In a perfect world, the least amount of mechanical connections would be best but I doubt if it'll cause you too many problems.
 
That should be fine! What u have got 2 remeber is that u are only recording in a home studio so with what equipment u are using that will be fine!
