sound proofing using dry sand

well friends I have one question.... i am setuping a studio in my home space, the dimensions are enclosed in my previous mail titled "Support Needed for Studio Design" . We are doing some partition using double wall and we would like fill the space between two wall by dry sand. is it safe or it would lead some strage problems . Waiting for your reply.

hey michael have you seen our basic studio layout, pls give some advice. I am really needed same as i am newbie in this world but with a strong determination of learning things.

Charoo - If you are just starting out, try using the search function for this bbs. It is not the greatest but it does turn up lot's of great information. Searching on "Sand" in this forum turned up 2 pages of threads.

Thanx for your advice and guidance. I took the transcript of ref_material from SAE site and going through that only but some times things gonna bouncer too but i am too determined one day i will rule out. Hoping for same favorable attitude in future from ur side.
