PLEASE HELP ME YOU GUYS

Yes, you should hear it while you're recording. Do you hear it without the headphones? Give us more details of your ins/outs, soundcard, etc.

uuumm

i hear it when i take the earphones off
umm sound blaster audiopci 128 legacy device

i got a compaq presario 7000
10-100mb pci nic
there's three holes in the back
green hole - speackers
bkuee hole - dont know what that is for
pink hole - monitor for microphone (i think)

Where are you pluggin your headphones? You should jack it into the green hole.

Plus, did you test the headphones in another device (radio, etc.)?

1. Make sure that the headphones work.

2. Make sure that the headphones are connected to the LINE OUT

3. If you want to record vocals over the instrumental music, you will need a multi-tracker, not a sound editor.

4.Sony Sound Forge is a sound editor.

5. Sony Vegas Video is a multitracker.

6. If you are ina pinch, you can download a freeware/shareware multitracker from

http://www.hitsquad.com/smm

7. If you have the money you can pick up...

Sonar 3

N-Track

Cubase

Nuendo

Vegas

Acid

Logic

Pro Tools

etc.......

8. You can pick a free 8 track version of Pro Tools for MAC or PC at

http://www.digidesign

Peace

You will also need to make sure that you have the SB soundcard set for record and play.
