I've been using sound forge for a while now to sample various inputs such as records played from my decks, mp3s and streaming audio... all fine and dandy, untill...

Last week my computer got a virus, so i had to reinstall everything and for some reason sound forge wont pick up any sound waves from mp3's or streaming audio, but from my recordplayer it picks up fine...

Any help/suggestions as to what i should do to fix this would be most appreciated!

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but that was not the case; I had tried playing around with that option...

If anyone else has this problem, for future reference here is what do do;

Double-click the yellow speaker in taskbar systray > Options > Properties > Recording > Ok > Check Select in either "what you hear" or "mixed output" > set the fader to approx. 1/2.

Now Forge will record whatever is present at your soundcard,
