Sound Design

HI,.
Does anybody know of any information on
how to make sounds (the know how's and whatt's of sound design) I've been getting into
sounds more than writing music latlety....
but I would like to know alot more on sound design than I do now, sort of new to this.

What kind of sounds are you thinking of? Cool synthesizer pads, special effects--?? You can get lots of CDs with special effects (we use them in video production)--everything from doors slamming to bottles breaking to whatever. You can also record something like a handful of change dropping into a cup, then loop it and make it part of a rhythm track. Yeah, sounds are our business. Some more info on what you have in mind would be helpful.
