My friend gave me his Sound Blaster Audigy card, but I can't get it to record line in using Sound Forge. Any ideas on how to get it to work? Or what is a good 24 bit sound card I can get for around $50 online?

Spend an extra $50 and get the Audiophile 2496. It was desgined from the ground up for DAW work. The Revo 7.1 is not that much better than the Audigy and in some ways inferior actually.
