Sound blaster

I just purchased a Soundblaster Audigy 2 card for £30 ($60).
Is this card good enough for using with say Pro Tools or Cubase SX?

It'll work, and you can do fine work with it, but it's not up to the quality of a good semi-pro audio interface like the products from M-Audio, Echo, Motu, etc.

Cool, cheers AlChuck. Its all i could afford at the time, but might upgrade. Anyone know of any decent affordable soundcards with XLR and TRS balanced I/Os?
