Some of you seem angry that I have made too many separate threads about more or less the same topic. Sorry about that... I understand why that may be uncool.

The truth is, I just didn't think that anyone would bother to read a thread that is 9 responses long and based on about 10 different questions. I figured that it'd be more helpful if I could discuss my individual questions separately.

I bought a crappy Casio ct-460 back in about '89 and don't want to make that mistake again so I am doing my best to educate myself this time. And who better to ask for advice than the synth experts on this panel.

I am going to make one more thread on the differences between the Roland xp-30, and xp-80 and then I'll be done... well for now.

You might be surprised how many people actually read the complete threads around here! In many ways it's easier and more efficient to respond to one post with multiple points than many posts on the same or similar topic.
