Okay so i already started a thread but i'm a little impatient, please give me some honest feedback as i've been told by a number of people that they like my voice and the uniqueness of it etc etc.

I also song write and people enjoy and can relate to my lyrics. My question to you is, do you think i can sing? Am i good enough to go and audition? are all the people i know too polite for their own good?

haha hit me up with some CC when you can, please and thankyouu! :)

P.S i shall post links here as i record them :)

This is Follow Me - an Uncle Kracker rendition:

I like your voice :O Maybe have background music LOL Don't go around auditioning just yet though. I think some technique-work on your part can get you in any audition though.
CC: I think you need more support. But that could just be my earplugs.

You can fa sure sing. However at times it seems like your singing through your nose. I not a vocal producer by any means but I think with the right coaching then you could defiantly let the world hear your talent. One more note(no pun intended, lol) i like the tone of your voice...it has alot of character and its fa sure made for pop music. As a producer, I would defiantly like to work with you

voice is flat, and/or pitchy. not sure if there's a whole lot you can do about that.

Hmmm I don't get the flat/pitchy from the previous comment. I think I hear you slide down a notch during the performance (change key slightly). Without the music it's difficult to tell how you would be in a full song mode - but I think you'd be fine. I'd say you're fine for auditions - go for it.

Voice is definitely different. You're bending pitch. Consider taking voice lessons.. When you play it back what do you think? Definitely wait for auditions, practice and work on breathing techniques, vocal exercises and hitting correct pitches through inflections

*The awkward moment when i was expecting a deep male voice*
Lol! but your voice is nice :) keep at it! *and no I'm not being polite its actually nice*

Hahahah a male voice XDD sorry to disappoint :P

also, sorry about the delayed response! Thanx a bunch for your CCs though, i am taking some vocal lessons just to work on my breathing act so i can get the most out of my voice and sing to my full potential.

@kkh961216 hahah thanx! i won't be auditioning just yet, don't worry :P - i defs need to fix up my breathing technique to project my voice fully but thanx :) and i'll experiment with some backing sound soon

@KeyMusic wow thanx! haha i'm glad you like it! :D ahh yes, it's partly me singing out of my nose at times but also that i recorded straight into my laptop through its in-built mike - bad quality? lol but thanx, i hope the world can hear me soon too :)

@Pauly Ominus haha, well imma keep at this :)

@ido1957 thanx :) but i think i'll wait a while before that, tad nervous about what would happen and how i should go about it, whether i should go and audition straight up or send out Eps, not entirely sure about how to attack this dream of mine

@kevvwho i'm glad you think so! i don't wana be like anyone else, if you're voice can be heard above others' then you've already got a leg up i think XD when i play this rendition back, i know that i'm straining myself a little - i always feel more comfortable singing my own songs or songs that are by people with the same genre as mine, i will try this soon and post XD - i'm working on breathing and expanding my range

@Houda haha thanx Houda and of course, still going strong! :D

Just another question, do you guys think i should audition for a show eventually? or send out Eps to recording companies that produce artists with a similar sound to mine? Also, how amazing would it be to actually make it in this industry ..

I think you can carry pitch, mostly, on that little example, but you need to work on breathing and learning when to and when not to in the context of a song. It's not difficult but you ran out of air in a few spots.

You're definitely flat in a few places, mainly on minor notes, not major ones... the lack of music makes that stand out a little more, and nothing tragic or that some more work won't fix. Question is, do you know where the flat notes are?

Keep it up, but I wouldn't be auditioning just yet. And get a better microphone if you can afford one and if you plan on recording stuff for auditions.
