I recently bought a sony TC-388-4 four track reel to reel for $75. Haven't received it yet, but, I have seen pics of the unit--it "appears" to be good condition....does anyone know about this model?...I have heard some bad things about other sony models, but, I'm a novice with these decks...also, does anyone know of a site devoted to open-reel recording?...thanks.
