Hello, so first of all i have to say i do not know anything about microphones, and the one i have is something i found between my fathers old audio equipment.

So i found a Sony ECM-909 stereo microphone with 90 and 120 degree recording angle or something, and it have something that looks like a normal 3.5mm audio jack.
My laptop have a black 3.5mm audio out for headphones, a pink 3.5mm that i think is for a microphone, and a blue 3.5mm that i have no idea what is for, there is a symbol there that looks like a parabolic antenna or something.
My question is, what is the last port for, and will this microphone work with my laptop directly, or do i have to have some kind of adapter, or is it not compatible at all?
My laptop is a Acer Aspire 5739z, and i will use the mic for game play commentaries and such.
I would greatly appreciate all help :)

Connected via pink port, turned it on to 90 degrees, and tried to use skype to find it, (skype, options, audio settings, choose microphone). And no other than the laptops default mic appeared, also the mic just blinks the red light once when i turn it on, the light just flickers one time and then dispersal.

Edit: was using skype a good choice? Or should i use something else?

Edit 2: Tried to find it in the control panel, but no luck there either.
