I have a Tascam tm-d1000 with the expansion card that gives me 16 channels of TDIF-1 Digital I/O, which is 2 TDIF cables. I also have 2 IF-TAD, TDIF to lightpipe converters. My soundcard is an ADAT Edit PCI card, which is 8 channels lightpipe i/o, which I sync an ADAT blackface to. I would like to get a soundcard with 16 channels i/o, preferably TDIF format, but lightpipe will do, so I can get rid of the blackface and still have the 16 channels in and out of my computer. Does anyone have any suggestions for a soundcard that will work? I ran across a Sonorus Studio Studi/o on ebay(http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=41787&item=3718431657&rd=1) that looked like it would give me the lightpipe option, just wanted to confirm that it would work for me, and to get some other options.
