Hey everyone,

I know we all see posts everywhere all the time asking for people to listen to our music and such, and as musicians and engineers we all want to listen and give advice, etc, but don't have the time to check everything out. For any of you who do feel so inclined, I'd like some feedback on my songs. I'm a brand new member so I can't link to other sites on posts here just yet, but look me up on Reverbnation. Search for "Jamin Travis." My picture is me wearing a cabbie hat playing guitar at a bar. Should be easy to find. All I have are various demo recordings for now, mostly from home, and 1 from a studio that I did in '09. I'm in the process of tracking professionally for my first official EP release, but I just want some general feedback on my songwriting for now, and I'll let you sneak peek some of the EP tracks as I get them back. Thanks!

How about you get the required number of posts and post links. It ain't that hard... there's even a thread for it in Newbs.

How about you not be rude about it. I asked for people to check out my music, not to be criticized for something trivial. You dont have to look up my page if you don't feel like it.

He's not being rude and he's not criticizing you at all, simply pointing out realities. Armistice has been here for 12 years and trust me, he has a good handle on many of the characters here and how people operate. He's actually giving you good advice that will have the direct result of exactly what you've asked for - people listening to and maybe critiquing your music. I can tell you, few people, unless they are totally bored out of their heads, are going to go searching for the music of someone they don't know. Whereas if you make up 10 posts or whatever, you can link to what you'd like us to hear and at the click of a cursor, hey presto, we'll be there.
If you don't want that, well, carry on.
You dont have to look up my page if you don't feel like it.
I will happilly stake my life on the fact that this will apply to most of us here.

I think that you now have the succinct and full versions.
the rest is up to you.
