Greetings,

Back from vacation, where I brought some old cassettes with me. Songs I recorded on Teac 4-track reel-to-reel. I was full of ideas back then . Didn't give a damn about song structure or playing chords properly . Keep in mind this mp3 was made right from the cassette.

back to the 80s

the drums remind me of Depeche Mode -- I loved that sound

Interesting panning there with the drums... then the guitar... sounds off balance... then it slightly nudges to the middle.

Kind of new wave crosses rockabilly on the beach. Surf's up.

Some of the flavors here. Kind of Thompson Twins and Pet Shop Boys (early PSB). I like that suspended chord ... the one that is a step down from tonic-- kind of the Pet Shop Boys signature there.

Not really daily listening material here for me, but it was a good composition. Not too bad.
