Oh man I really enjoyed that...very complete very tight...excellent mix...you don't say where you're located..naturally if I ventured Great Britain, you'd probably be from Bug Tussle..but it does have an brit feel...are you a band or an individual? What did you use to record?...this is some fun stuff, really....gibs
Thankx Guyz,
I'm in Atlanta GA
It's just me on the tune
For recording I used:
Tascam 8 track cassette
Shure 57 mic Lexicon LXP15 for FX Ibanez S-series guitar/Rocktron Chameleon Alesis QS6.1 keyboard
mapped the midi through Cakewalk
I have just gone digital and got a Pod for guitar...I like it, I think the guitar sounds to thin on this mix, but it's sounds much more beefy on my newest stuff. Recording on the Tascam was ok but not much headroom. I just got DSP FX 6.1...sounds as good as the Lexicon...amazing!
Thankx for giving me an ear.
Honestly....liked it alot overall, but thought the chorus was too repetitive..

Diving in the blue sea

I think the (a) and (b) lines should be different each time and be interesting and kinda goofy like the rest of the song. And maybe (a) and (b) should have different melodicly from each other (that staying the same each time through).
The production was great. Very well done. I felt like I was back in high school. It seemed like the tune was distorting on the hits from 1:29 to 1:56. Other than that, sounds good.
Hah! Haven't heard a truly happy, catchy toon like that one for a while! Totally cool. Great mix. The entier thing sounded way more high-tech than an 8 track tape system. very pro sounding. So when is it going ot be on MTV?

Hey Garger,
Thanks for the nice words about my song on YOUR thread!!
Dude, you must be doing some voodoo to get that rich sound using a cassette 8 track. I am very impressed with your stuff. As far as it being repetative, aren't pop songs kinda supposed to be that way?
You have a killer song there, my friend!
