im trying to record a mic through my lexicon omega into sonar 7 and i keep getting a pulsating sound in watever i record. not just in the background its very noticeable .. any ideas wat this is or how to fix it . o and i get it wen i load a regualr mp3 onto sonar as well

what do you mean by pulsating exactly? Can you describe what your hearing in detail to give everyone a better understanding of what you mean. Do you hear your audio as well as the pulsating sound or does it interrupt your audio? Do you get the sound when playing music through either Media player or Winamp ? Are you new to computer recording?

Could it be interference from computer screen?Is it a CRT?
