Even if your system is running fine, I would strongly recommend following Cakewalk's instructions and configuring your system to handle it. We don't know exactly where Cakewalk's self-modifying code is, so that means we don't know where it is going to fail. Its like a time bomb, that just might go off right at a crucial time in your project -- why take the chance?
