Hi everyone, I'm new as you can see. New to the forum, but not to music. I just transitioned over from reason to Sonar x2 because I dont like the idea that Propellerhead has required a " dongle " or usb key in order to run the software. With that being said, I've picked up on using Sonar fairly quickly. I use to use Cakewalk before Pro Tools came to town, so Im a little familiar with its functionality. My question is pretty basic and I know it's probably an easy fix, I'm just tired of trying to figre it out.
My question is how do you change where the actual start time is for when the program begins to record what you play? For example: The track is armed, I press play, recording starts, I usually move the cursor just before the track loops back over to start recording at meaure 1. Well the problem is that the recording never starts at 1, it only starts recording at the second measure, and its killing me! How do I adjust the start time for when it actually starts recording what I play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
