I have searched forum after forum for an answer to this problem, but I have yet to find it. I am running Sonar Home Studio on a pc with Vista os. I've imported audio into cakewalk, but when I try to playback, the "cursor" blinks once and doesn't go anywhere. I can see the audio in the track, but I just can't figure out why it won' "go"! This happens regardless of file size, and I have plenty of memory and power...

Please, if there is anyone who can help solve this issue, I would appreciate it so much. I'm goin' crazy here!!

Are you getting a drop-out message at the bottom of the screen when you try to play it?

Or perhaps you do not have your outputs set correctly in the Audio Options?

what sound card?

I have to agree with Myriad Rocker on this one. I use Sonar Pro 4 ...look under the tab for audio settings. You have to specify which drivers you want the program to use, ie...WDM or ASIO (for an external device like M-Audio)

Good Luck
