hey there
at the moment im using a tascam us122 with Cakewalk Sonar to record, but was wondering whether it'd be worth buying a Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini with ProTools LE to work with?
I only ever really record 1, rarely 2 tracks at a time, and everything goes in via 1/4" jack, even drums as i use an electric kit. The only exception to this is vocals, but since the Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini has a mic input and i wouldnt record more than 1 mic input at a time thats fine.
I'm assuming the tascam us122 and Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini are pretty much the same (the tascam might be slightly less reliable, as ive had a few problems with it before), so it really comes down to whether the Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini is worth getting due to it being ProTools compatible. and is the Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini ProTools HD compatible too?
any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much
*forgot to mention i dont really use midi either, so no real need for that in all honesty either*
