Howdy, all. I'm thinking about taking the plunge and upgrading to Sonar, mainly for the new loop features. My understanding is that you can paint your loops (ala ACID) directly into a Sonar track and have them line up tempo-and key-wise -- is that correct?
Right now I'm auditioning loops in ACID, importing them over to CW, listening to them with the rest of the mix, deleting bad choices, reworking in ACID, etc. It's a long and tedious process and if Sonar has truly combined an ACID style loop program with audio and MIDI recording, my prayers may have been answered.
Anyone out there who has worked or is working with Sonar, please let me know if I'm understanding this correctly -- and feel free to volunteer other thoughts on the program in general (whether you think it's worth the upgrade). Muchos gracias!
