Hey Guys,

Could you give me some help on using the delay plug in on Sonar Studio Edition. The manual says that the delay can go up to 5000 ms. I can only get the delay up to 720ms. How can I get a longer delay time. Also how do I use the "coarse" delay time adjustment and the "fine" delay time adjustment. Thanks guys!

ill check today in the studio if i can remember and let you know. it might be a producer edition feature...who knows?

There are 3 delays you can choose from

Cakewalk Delay goes up to 5000ms
Sonitus Delay goes up to 4000ms
Cakewalk FXDelay goes up to 720ms

You must have been using the FXDelay. The book is referring to the regular delay.

Yeah I was using the FX Delay, how can I get the cakewalk delay as was mentioned in the manual???

You have to do a partial install and select the older plug ins for installation. They are not selected by defaut I believe. They are on your original CD.

If I reinstall the Program will I loose my songs that I have saved on my hard drive??? Thanks

No, but you don't have to do a complete install. There is a point in which you select custom install and you can select to only install the plug ins. This is the path you should take.

i thought that seemed right, thanks middleman...i might need to do the same, though i never liked the regular cakewalk plugins...they never seemed strong enough for me (though the parametric eq came in handy)
