Sonar MIDI question

I think I am going to do a workaround, but this is still bugging me.

I have a MIDI drum track that I want to use. I didn't write it myself, but if I listen to it using the general MIDI sounds, everything is fine.

I just started using Reason Drum Kits. If I import the MIDI file into Reason it sounds fine. All of the drum sounds come through, and I didn't have to remap anything. However I want to use Sonar as the source since there are tempo changes and obviously for ease of use.

The problem comes in when I import the MIDI file into Sonar. If I use Reason's drum through Rewire, not all of the drum hits come through. In other words, the snare for example will sound, but only half of the actual hits make a sound. If I change the MIDI sounds to general MIDI it sounds normal. I have even watched the piano roll as it's playing through Reason and I can see all of the skipped notes.

Does anyone know why this would happen? So to recap: Reaon alone plays fine. Sonar using General MIDI plays fine. Reason through Sonar skips notes. It doesn't look like an actual issue in either app, but maybe something to do with velocities? I'm stumped.

Why???????

That would be my initial thought. Try it:

In the track view, adjust the velocity to full ( Its the green bar underneath the volume). Drag it to at least 65.

This has happened to me with midi files I didnt do: It shows that notes are there yet no sound comes out. I adjust the velocity and it was fine.
