Sonar doesn't see my sound card?

I just installed Sonar 3 and found out that Sonar won't play any file at all. The different between Sonar setup and my other sequencer is that " Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth" is not listed in Sonar as MIDI device. What can I do so that Sonar will see this device? (This was a recent problem with Sonar 2.2 as well... I must have done something!!!)

Sonar doesen't see crappy soundcards and MIDI-devices... That's just the way it is.

Sometime you need to use propher driver mode to work... selecting WDM driver over MME with particular cheap cards will make it dissapear from the list... Try select MME driver and see if it helps
