sonar has monitoring capabilities wherein you select which audio driver(s) is to be used as the input monitor.
with CW9, i could monitor on the same track as i record on with no feedback using the digital patch bay from my frontier designs wavecenter/tango d/a/d; however, with sonar this causes a feedback loop. so now, in order to monitor what i'm recording in sonar, i've got to select and audio channel other than the one i'm recording on, and then patch my wavecenter digital patch bay to that channel as well...
hopefully, i'll find a way to correct this. i was loving most of sonar up until now... especially, being able to see the levels for the recorded tracks.
another thing i couldn't change was the volume of a track from within the event view. something i've been doing for years...
