Sonar 8.0 producer adition Q...

Hey whats up. i just got myself a samsom c031 or sumthing like that usb power mic. and well when i connect it and set up my the inputs and all. and when u speak on it and there is a delay on the headphone. is there sumthin i need to tweak wit the program sonar 8.0 to have it actually live when speak or singer on the mic... please help if possible..

Do yourself a BIG favor and stay away from usb mics and adapters.
They are basically made for PODCASTING (radio chat shows), not music recording.

The analog-to-digital converters in their mini-soundcard are mediocre for music.
The poor monitoring in them will give you fits trying to overdub new tracks.
The short cords will introduce a LOT of computer fan noise.

Get yourself a real audio interface. Here's a good guide:

NOW.... to work on your problem....
The delay is LATENCY. You can adjust the delay in the asio control panel buffers.
Find the part in the sonar manual on setting the device preferences.
