Here is some stuff I just recorded in Sonar5PE. This is one tough learning curve for a 54 y/o dude. :p

The Sonar "Know it all" dvd" is pathetic. I just ordered the CSI DVD to help me out.

That stuff sounds pretty good. I'd say the curve couldn't have been to bad..... :D

Sounds great. Liked the country styles the best. Did you do all the fiddle and petal steels yourself? Did you use mics or are they done somehow else. If anything sounded weird to me its the snare on "Just Kicking Around". Didn't seem to match the style. Very reverby or splashy!? But thats of course "Just one assholes opinion", its all so personal. Great job being a newbie myself. Just put down my first few. Love the process. And yes, Big learning curve. ;)

thanks.... I played everything except one fiddle loop. Most of the fiddle stuff is me. The drums are "Drums on Demand" loops. Even though I have played drums for 45 + years and have a 7 piece yamaha maple absolute kit, it's faster and far easier to just use the loops. I'm not new to music or recording.... just using Sonar. I'm just an old fart having some fun!
