Well I've spent a total of 6 hrs now trying to figure out why Amplitube 2 will not successfully install into my Sonar 4 studio. I've tried everything and ALL trouble shooting answers, vst adapter 4 from windows start prog.,etc.

I followed ALL cd install instructions,IKey,etc.

Not sure if this is normal, but my Amplitube 2 was factory sealed and while opening the white envelope, I find 3 red IKeys and 3 IDENTICAL Amplitube 2 cds, is this normal to find 3/3 inside? If so, what is the purpose of?

I was able to register with the serial# on the internet but it was asking for a digital code# to get an authorization#. How can I get a digital# if I can't even get it installed in Sonar to view the digital#? I also don't understand the 10 day free trial thing before you have to register, etc. Sorry for all the confusion but this is seriously driving me CRAZY.

I would gladly appreciate some help from you pros, I tried calling ALL guitar center software gurus to no help and IK is closed for the weekend, HEEELLLPPP!

Thankyou for feeling sorry for me and your help!

Windows XP Pro

Retail Sonar 4 Studio Edition
...soon to be installed Amplitube 2. Thankyou!

Well thanks for the help guys? What I FINALLY figured out was that when it asks you to input the IKey upon installing, I plugged it into the FRONT USB 2.0 in put and it didn't recognize it. But when I plugged it into the back(mother board usb input), it regognized it and it worked!

But know when I installed the 2.1 with standalone, I'm getting latancy issues(echo popping sound?).

HELP!!!!!!!!

I have:

MAudio 2496
1.6 XP athlon
512ram
Sonar retail 4 studio

I don't have an answer, but a comment that I had Amplitube 1 and had major problems getting past authorization. Calling them is useless. No one there. I had a guy at GC who sold it to me get the guy one the phone and call me. Once it worked all is fine. Though isn't latency a buffer problem?!?!

I guess its a buffer prob. Figured it out by experimenting for 20 minutes, now its perfect!

Amplitube 2 is the BEST vintage amp, pedal, etc. plug in anywhere! I've played and owed most if not ALL the REAL DEAL vintage amps and pedals and this software is the most accurate and authentic sounding ever!

Love the THD amp tone and EH Mem Man delay pedal the most.
