Hey guys..

I am using sonar 4 with an m-audio delta 66 interface, and i have been out recording some tunes live with 4 microphones, and now i want to send each track via the outs on my audiointerface to my mixer so i can try to mix them out of the box..

But S4 wont send the tracks mono, it seems.. the ony options i have in the track output to: dialog is delta 66 1/2, 3/4 etc..

Does anyone have a solution to this problem, or is it impossible..?

pan each track, number one and two will be one-left two-right
so every track you can send seperate by choosing your output as lets say a mic one thats vocals or i don't know what you recorded, so mic one goes to output 1/2 but by panning it left, it will only go out on channel 1
do the same left-1 right-2 left-3 right-4 and you'll get your 4 outs
i guess you are using wdm drivers, if you had asio you probably could send mono tracks, or maby its in the configuration of your soundcard, don't know if there is a mono switch though.....but my trick should work fine!

thanks i'm gonna try the panning right away, btw i am using ASIO drivers, so maybe i should take a look at my soundcards control panel too..

SONAR will send them mono when you get it set up...I agree with drpfeffer in that it is likely a setup with your audio card. The 66 should set up very similar to my 1010 which depending upon which drivers and how you have them enabled, you'll get either or both 1/2 stereo or 1 left 2 right.
