This is a remix of a song that was on Ras Lidj's previous release a few years ago. We were messing around in the studio between takes of another tune (tour bus) when i started playing this tune on my classical guitar.

since he only sold a couple hundred copies of his previous release we're thinking about putting it on the next one as well.

this is an un-mastered version, please be blunt. i can handle it.

Production is smooth and on point. Very nice guitar The vocals arent really hittin me though. it not the content. More so the delivery i guess
 
Yeah this is some of the better production I have heard from you. Although I have not heard much. I agree with Hi D maybe th delivery needs work? I don't know.
 
i was worried about that. especially the section where he goes 'falsetto' to sound like his mother is talking.

normally he does the rah, rah thing and the patoi thing. this is the only slow-down song he has so i want for it to come off right.

any suggestions?
 
i listened again to see if there was anything but I don't know It feel like he should be singing instead sort of like what Wyclef did in a couple of his songs. But Reggae is not my expertise so I don't know. Yeah I wouldn't want something that sounded that good to have any faults.
 
he doesn't sing well enough to carry an entire song. so i'll have to either get him to tone down the emotive sections or just let it ride.
