Someone Help with XP and Cubase SX!

I just installed Windows XP and I find that when I save a project in Cubase SX it doesn't save the settings within my plugins. Please Help.
 
is their just a message that says ur plug-in settings haven't been saved or do u actually see that ur plug-in settings have been changed. I don't use cubase i use sonar and i know somtimes it'll say plugin settings couldn't be loaded...but when i look all the settings are still their
 
when i open the project and listen to it, it sounds the way it did before all my plugins and EQ changes. I click on the insert panel and the plugin is there, but not active and doesn't have the previous settings. There is no official message though.
 
Do you need to save the individual plugin settings as new user presets?
 
I'm not sure what you mean? Would it save all settings seperately as a file? Or like a template?
 
Wierd. I've never heard of that kind of behavior before. You might want to take that one up with Steinberg support.
