yes
I have a white seymour duncan invader. i was wondering if there is any way i could make it black. i know no painting, but theres pickup covers you can change, but the problem is the poles are like screws at the top. so, is it possible for me to unscrew them, and replace each half of the humbucker with a single coil black pickup cover. i'm not a guitar newb or anything, i'm just curious.
i don't know if anyone would want to get rid of their black invader, i'd be interested.

thanks-tom

Im thinking the invader pickups have huge caps on them compared to reg single coils poles which stick up through those holes. Unless you would widen the holes, im not so sure it would fit.

just a thought.

well the thing is it that they are actully screws them selves, an allen head im pretty sure.

so i was thinkging why coulnt i just unscrew them, take out the white piece and put it in?

i just dont know if the wire is coiled around the screws or not.

help would be great from anyone that knows about invaders.

The white piece is part of the pickup. Whatever it is you're thinking about doing, don't. It won't work and you will most likely break the pickup. Best bet is to sell or trade for what you want.
