Roel
That SMART guy.
This is a link to an anti-war animation, actually, its about Dutch politics on the matter.
The animation is by a Belgian dude that was contacted by some organisation that organized euhm something in Amsterdam. He asked Jan (a jazz guitarplayer studying at my school), and Jan asked me to help him with the technical part.
And so I did. We did almost all sounds/recordings. Syncronisation was done by the animation-dude (he works on mac and I work on pc, we couldn't get his flash-project imported on my pc to do it all here. So he did that on his own.)
You gotta listen to the guitargroove in the middle. It just swings. The guy did 2 takes of every track. One try and a final version. He's GOOD! Jee.
And the bass. That's a pretty funny story too. We didn't have a bass to record, so we plugged his guitar (ibanez jazzguitar) in my vtwin, directly in the VS1880 and applied a voice effect called female->male. Kindof a pitch shifter. And I recorded the best bass-sound I ever did... funny....
