It's really hard to tell in Supernaut as the drums are SSSOOOOOO loud. Yeah a touch too much wah but only when the rest of the band comes in - you need the extra POWER then.
Vocals, well a fair stab at it & he knows the words. Just not menacing enough I guess.
I LOVE your selection of covers amte - tres bonn!

Hey Ray, yeah, our new room is a bit smaller that we are practicing in and we were a bit amped up to try these songs for the 1st time....drummer is very energetic....which I love , even tho we are gonna have to work on dynamics a bit.....now we need to find a real singer and let current singer focus on bass .....
Thanks for listening Ray...Happy New Year!

I really enjoyed listening to supernaut. That is one of my all time favorite tunes/riffs. I wish the guitar had been louder when the rest of the band kicked in. The wah is a little too heavy handed, but it definitely sounds cool tonewise and playing wise. The singer has a pretty good range for this material, but could use more of an edgy quality to the performance. The drums are really busy on the original version of this tune and I thought the drummer did a good job of capturing that energy. I did an acoustic cover of this tune years ago that is pretty damn rough. You are the only other person I've ever heard cover it, so thank you.

Cool HM! I think Black Sabbath's "VOl.4" album is my fav by them....we also jam on "Wheels Of Confusion" and "Snowblind" ...it's funny...I'm pretty sure Iomni is using a wah for that Supernaut riff, but it almost sounds like hes just barley rocking it or leaving it kinda 1/2 open....gonna experiment further with that...as well as level wise....its a smaller room then Im used to practicing in, and I definetly don't wanna start a volume war with the other 2 guys ;>)...gonna check your SC site and see if that acoustic version of Supernaut is up there..I bet its cool!
Thanks for the listen!

Supernaut - Nice wah work especially on the solo man! Yeah the drums are too loud as compared but have a nice crispy live tone. The singer sounds good - keep him for the sheer sake of giving the lead guy some rest and for backups. Lots of energy and well done!
