two of the tunes were recorded all vs-880ex, the "bat's brew" tune and the "zoom" tune...

the michael's house tune was recorded on a tascam 688, then dumped to the vs and re-mastered...

i'm going to re-record the michael's house tune from scratch, any suggestions?

this is guitar music, so if aggressive guitar wanking isn't your cup of tea, that's cool, pass over it....

I checked out the "Bat's Brew" and was quite impressed. For mix, I wouldn't do much, it sounded good to me. Possibly tweak the vocals or drop them in the mix a little, use a tad more reverb on them. That might just be that I'm not a fan of this kind of music/singing (Sorry!), but they seem a little hot for me. The guitar tracks are awesome. I love the use of harmony. The drum sounds are little boring (hey, it sounds good for a drum machine, but it is obviously a drum machine) but maybe some creative effects could help that, maybe a tad more highs on em too. Overall I'd say the mix sounds awesome. I checked it out on my headphones first, but then put it through my ProAudio 2012's and it sounded killer.

THANKS FOR LISTENING!

i appreciate the listen. good points on the vocals, i personally thought they should be down a little myself, but my cohort told me to crank em a little more, i guess that this type of mix normally has hotter vocals, but to my ears they could have come down a bit.
i'd love to hear the mix through those pro audios....
i mixed it down through my stereo, set up fairly flat, close field, with a yamaha natural sound amp and a pair of old infinity research standards, that have just been reconed...

i'll hit your site, see what you've got! hopefully some more mp3's...
