here is the problem. i have built a kit of 5 mesh head triggers and tought i would root them to my dm5 and use the midi out to record through my computer. The problem is that with midi i need much more editing (a pain in the a**) then when i go with my all time used drumagog 3.
and if i plug the triggers direct to my sound card, then the drummers only hear their cymbals. i would need some unit that would take my trigger signal and duplicate it, so i can send it to my dm5 drum brain and to my soundcard at the same time.
anyone as an idea of something i could use?
and another question;
i have a m-audio dmp3, and there is a Direct in on it, would this do the same thing as a di box for bass instrument or i still need some amp? (i'm not to sure about what di box does, something like hi to low balanced conversion or amp simulation?)
just taking the time to read this diserves many thanx
