Taking the slow road
didn't see disk 2 yet, what more of it could I need?

It went fast, I loved seeing these guys w/ their ordinary problems, looking too old, but it moved well thru a story and it was very cool. Pro tools is in there too. Even Crazy Cabbie showed up. I'll see it again....

OK - I haven't posted here much, but I'll throw in my $0.02

I hate Metallica. They used to be my favorite growing up (I'm looking old too) and still would be if it wasn't for the last few years and this kind of garbage

I snuck into their soundcheck when they toured with WASP in the mid 80's.

They were it.

20 years later & what do we get?

Four multi-millionaires crying about how bad life is treating them! Oh yeah, we cant forget about their new memeber (the shrink)

This was the band that promoted sharing cassettes to get speed metal out there (I remember spending so much time trying to find "Metal Up Your Ass") Now - 20 years later, suing anybody that wants to do the same thing (different topic I know), crying about their problems, and promoting it by making appearances to "discuss" these problems on the Jane Pauly show. Whats next Dr. Phil or Oprah?

I know people have problems, but thats never what this band was about.

I've got enough of this sort of garbage of my own to deal with... when I used to listen to Metallica - It was time to ROCK!

I watched this stupid movie hoping that this time would be back (and that I might see a little more studio footage) - I was wrong, its time to cry & discuss...blah blah blah

There are so many better bands now anyway. Their latest album sounds horrible. I give up.

Nothing against your opinion (we all have 'em)... I just thought I'd give a different view... Hopefully something will change

The footage of Dave Mustaine was pretty eye opening though (surprisingly he is a worthy candiate for Dr. Phil)

disk 2 had a lot of stuff, still not done w/ it. a cool small club surprise show, and more complaining, but still very entertaining. Never a big fan so I don't have much of an opinion on the band, just the movie.
