Some dumb questions

Soon im buying m powered pro tools, i wanna get into the midi side of things, and im looking at one of the m-audio controller keyboards. I've been looking at reason as well, seems like a pretty good bit of software... Basically my question is...Can i sync pro tools and reason, controll reason synths with my controller keyboard, and apply the virtual racks in reason to pro tools audio??

Other option, can i buy actual soft synth plug ins that work inside pro tools and go that route instead?

The answer is "YES" for both questions.

1. You can link Reason and Pro Tools using ReWire.

2. There are soft synths specificatlly for protools, or ones that support RTAS as well as the other plugin standards.
