That sounded... errmmm... fresh? :laughings:

Not bad. It's good quality and it's pretty catchy. The only thing I'd say is the intro is too long.

Cool song. I can't comment on the mix too much since I'm listening on PC at work but I can hear everything clearly. Good stuff.

cheers yonce...its actually meant to be an attempt at mixing a club mix...so the bass and kick are prolly a bit much and I was trying to get it to work in mono as well as stereo so not too much panning automation..

ive recorded so much shite over the last few months its good mixing practise for the next year :D

Actually, I get more of a Brie vibe from this one...

Anyway...not sure I've ever been to a "club" per se to actually hear a "club mix", but if I were to imagine going to one, this is what I would expect to hear. It appears to have sufficient thump to it and the snyth sounds are pretty fat...awww, ended too quickly though. Ah well.

My 10 yr. old daughter emerged from her room to get the low down on this track (bobbing her head in time from her doorway to the computer).

"Who did this one?" she asks..."him" I state pointing at your avatar..."arghhh!" - she recoils in horror, then laughs.

Nice job dudener - I think it came out very well.

Actually its scottish cheddar I was just trying to sound more sophisticated :)

your daughter is like my biggest fan so far and you showed her my picture!!!

thanks for listening heat and the comments...its way to short but I doubt Ill do anything with it if the mix sounds fine...i mean who the hells going to listen to it anyway :D

Cool sounds. Crystal clear. Nice stereo effects going on. This is actually much more interesting than most of the "club" music I hear on the radio. This mix is super punchy. I think it's mixed really well. Don't have any complaints at all. Nice work!

BTW...IT scared the hell out of me when I first saw it, the first half anyway. The spider was just stupid.

haha cheers K..great clown, terrible movie!

Im glad the mix is coming through well...i still haven't treated the room i mix in (that's happening now though) so Im really trying to pay attention to what Im doing.. mucho grassyarse :D

Another nice song KC. I can honestly say, that where I come from, I can see myself sitting at a bar, watching my favorite bad ass band playing while everyone just kind of sits around and watches. And then, just when they go to take a break in the set, they put some music like this on and every hot ass lady in the crowd is up on the dance floor shaking it like there is no tomorrow. I'm a jealous Mo-Fo of that Sheet. :D

About the music though, I love it. You got that kick pounding like crazy. I would love to hear it on a large bass system (which I don't have myself). Kicked ass through the monitors though. Great song.

Trump

wow you live in a strange place then trumpino, but I wanna move there for the ladies :D

thanks for the great comments...its just a bit of cheese but i do throw myself in it as much as possible, great that the mix is working out...big basses and kicks kinda get in the road sometimes

thanks again :)

cheers Jeff, its what I was trying to tell cashcohen after a few too many vodkas the other night...using filters can give synths much more movement and space..

at the moment Im using a korg EA-1 filters for hardware, but Im waiting on a korg monotron which has the orignal ms10/ms20 filter in it from the late 70s...should get some great sounds puting audio through it :)

I still can't get over how cool the Monotron is :laughings:

I'm a pretty huge trance fan, and use trance almost every day as brain-food to focus and code my day away...

(typing as I listen)

This had a definite vibe about it that was pretty yummy.

Aww yeah... Here comes the female vocals....

Just keeps getting better... Yeah, this is pretty cool.

I have no idea what kind of vibe you're going for, but this would absolutely rock my world, if there were more ethereal pads at work. As is, it's pretty staccato, and doesn't have much "filler" sound. It'd really fit the niche of trance with just a few layers of ethereal-sounding pads going on from time to time.

Oh yeah... More of them yummy female vocals, too..

I'd buy this, given the few additions.

Great work!

Thanks bud...Im not much of a trance fan but I get the sounds you're talking about..I guess this was meant to be electro disco, or something cheesy like that, bop bop bop :)

If I could just nail a guitar track Id try more electro genres, but so far Im on my third attempt in a few months and I've still ended up sticking the lead through a resonance filter lol :(

id never have taken you for any kind of electronic fan, not when I hear you play...just shows you :)

Yup... I'm about as eclectic as they come. From Gregorian chant to Britney Spears to Nine Inch Nails. Trance is just good brain food, and I've actually played quite a bit on electric drum kits - just haven't recorded any of it.
