Hey, I just wanted to know what a good software is to make some nice hip hop beats before I go spending any money. I'd like something realy simple not like Reasion 2.0 or anything.

if you're a student it's $200 for reason 3
they all pretty much work the same it's a matter of budget and preference
do a search for software and download the demos

I'd like something realy simple not like Reasion 2.0 or anything.

My recommendation is a brick for either hand and a nice hunk of concrete to pump up the volume.

Do you want a program that looks difficult, but really is quite simple and fast to work with? has endless possibilities as your skills grow? Go for Reason. You might be intimidated my the looks of it at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll be able to produce nearly blindfolded AND! with great results as well. Unlike other software producers Reason really will give you a great result, it's not just a salespitch.
