I'm looking for a program (ideally freeware/shareware) that can record the output of a program, such as Windows Media Player or SonicStage.

I need to get some songs off of my minidisc that I put on there a while ago. The problem is, I had to reformat my computer due to virus stuff, and now it won't let me transfer my own songs back because it thinks its a different computer.

When I play it back, it plays the songs through the computer, not out of the minidisc, and I don't have access to my recording stuff until the weekend, otherwise I would just take it off realtime out of the minidisc's headphone out, but I need to get these songs off today or tommorrow, best case scenario.
(talk about a run-on sentance!)

Thanks!!

I've used Audacity to capture the audio of a DVD playing through RealPlayer, so it should be able to capture WMP. Google Audacity to find the site, it's free and Open Source!

Good luck!

I've actually already got Audacity, but I didn't know it could do that. Cool! Thanks!
