Software suggestion

hi,

i have the following setup:
1. laptop
2. TASCAM US-1202
3. 2 mic for vocal/acoustic guitar
4. 1 electric guitar and amp
5. probably a mixer/preamp
6. BIAB

basically, the rhythm part (bass and keyboard) will be generated by BIAB

i want to buy one/two software to integrate with the above setup to server the following purposes
- generate/create the drum loop patterns
- mixing the different sound tracks

any suggestion?

i'm thinking of
- N-Track + FruitLoop (don't know which edition).
- Reason

N-Track + FL Studio should do it. Actually just the N-Track by itself would do it too, unless you absolutely insist on FL's pattern sequencer.

Reason can't record audio, so it's not good for your situation, although you could combine that with N-Track instead of FL Studio.
