In order to import samples into a software sampler,providing that it accepts AKAI and Emu formats, do I need a SCSI card for the computer?
I am currently using an Emu ESI2000 with a GLYPH Toshiba Cd-Rom drive attached. I would like to hook the GLYPH to the computer.
It receives data on a printer type cable, but I have a cable that adapts to the smaller SCSI type cables. i can't think of the name of these right now, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
