Software pack! Any advice?

Hello, folks!

I'm setting up a computer for home recording. I'm a bit experienced but I've been away from it in a while so I'd like your advice because you are probably more up to date about the softwares for this kind of purpose.

So, I'll use Sonar (the latest version). Which VSTs and other plug-ins or useful software do you recommend?

I need a drum vst, basic effects, vocal managing plug-ins, etc. I'm going to record rock music and eventually some eletronic music.
