So what gear did your wifehusbandgirlfriendboyfriend get you for your last birthday?

I know what my wife is getting for me this time, might change but she said she was going to go to fulcompass and pick me up a V69ME. So as the thread tittle reads, what gear did you get for your last birthday, could be from mom or dad or brother or sister, but it had to be for your birthday with no effort on your part expect for giving them a list?
 
Back when my girlfriend earned more than I do, she got me a bass that Id had my eye on for quite some time
 
My ex never bought me any gear....come to think of it, he didn't buy much of anything! :D :eek:

The next-to-last time (1998) I had a girlfriend on my birthday, same here. The last time (2000)... a thermal mug.

Man, it sucks here in Northern California. Only dated one girl for any significant period of time since I got here 7 years ago.

Note to any young people reading this: find someone to marry before you finish college---by the time you finish high school if you're lucky enough to find someone mature/responsible enough to marry you at that age. You may not get another shot.
 
Well for my wifes birthday in October I bought her a new Neumann TLM-103.....(obviously shes a singer)..Works out good for me to :D
 
* parents: iPod, but christmas was a delta 66/behringer mixer (it was eather recording equipment or xbox 360, I chose recording.. is that wrong?)

I would tend to agree, but buck up, because you'll get the upper hand in five years when those biological alarm clocks go off ;)

oh yea....plus if he still hasn't gotten any by then I doubt he would really give a shit anyways.
 
My wife is getting me a new Avalon mic pre but she doen't know it yet. :D
 
I didn't get a damn thing for my birthday which was April 29. So I've got an excuse to get a head worn mic for live work. That'll show my wife I'm not to be triffiled with!!! I drum for a 3 pc. group. We play on small stages and have trouble setting up a boom stand for backing vocals.
 
maybe if she was more head worn, she would have gotten you something.....sorry. :o
 
For b- day she got me a watch. She would never attempt top buy me gear without me knowing, as she know I'm picky. :o
 
My wife didn't buy me any gear and won't. I have too much. My birthday is this friday. We're going to Palm Springs with friends for the weekend.

What she allowed me to get for myself (and I am unbelievably excited!!!) is that I get to go cage diving with Great White sharks! I already paid and booked it for October 7th!!

It's going to be awesome!!!!!!!!

Personally I hate swimming with thoes ugly bastards :eek: well when I do it it's not planned and I don't have a cage
